What to Bring on Safari.

Purchase at our Safari Store

Download this list to print.

When on safari we recommend tan, green or brown coloured clothing during the day. It is nice to have some colourful clothing to wear at lodges or camps in the evening. White clothing is not recommended on safari because it stands out from a distance but also because it can get dirty quickly. Breathable, clothes that can shield the skin from the strong equatorial sun are recommended as are clothing that permit movement. If you are going to the coast normal beach attire is fine. We try to respect the more conservative traditions at the coast and in towns and villages we cover up a bit - ie. bathing suits appropriate at St. Tropez may not be as appropriate on the East Africa coast.
